Bringing Adam Home by Les Standiford, Joe Matthews

I was probably about 8 or 9 when Adam Walsh was abducted this was the first time in knew that kids were kidnapped and that some never came home. In today's world we are pretty much used to turning on the TV and seeing that yet another child has been taken and 4 days later we hear they are are no longer with us. and every once in awhile we hear some good news that they have been found alive thanks to the resources that we have today such as Code ADAM, Amber alerts etc.We also have America's Most Wanted Which Adam's father is the host of. Bringing Adam Home is the story of one man's determination to get justice for Adam and his family. This book pulled at my heartstrings as I read how this little boy was tortured and murdered for no reason what so ever. But in the end Adam's story changed many of our lives today he is the reason we now have the Missing Children's center, CODE ADAM and today parents are more aware of the dangers that await our children.
