The Secret Life of Josephine {Historical Fiction Challenge}

Carolly Erickson is fast becoming one of my favorite historical authors.
this is the second book of hers that I have read. Josephine tells her life story from childhood to becoming an Empress. I couldn't help but to dislike her husband Bonaparte aka Napoleon as he berated and insulted her through out the book. I found her story fascinating as she described the many palaces she lived in and the paris fashions of the era.
If you read the last wife of Henry The VIII you will enjoy this one.
